Why an auction and how does it work?

15.08.2021
More and more proceedings are being carried out on behalf of third parties - that is why we have decided to implement our own online auction page on our homepage.
So we are now also offering selected items - similar to EBAY - as an auction.

Items that are in an auction can only be purchased EXCLUSIVELY via the auction page in an auction or possibly buy it now. A regular sale in our store is NO LONGER possible.

In order to be able to bid, you first have to register. You will receive a confirmation email with a link that you have to click on. If you have not received this email after registering, please check your spam folder first, as these emails are sent automatically, and often they end up in spam.

If you are now logged in you have the following options:

1. Buy it now: You will immediately receive the bid for this article at the specified price. The auction will then be deleted.
2.Bidding Agent: You enter your maximum price that you are willing to pay. The price increases in the specified steps as long as other bidders enter a higher price. So you don't have to do anything - the bidding agent bids for you and you remain the highest bidder up to your maximum bid.
3. Fixed price bid: You offer a fixed price. If this is outbid by another bidder, you can re-bid manually.

The articles usually have a minimum bid price. Until that is reached, you as the highest bidder will only receive a conditional acceptance. Your bid is binding for 7 days. During this time, we will clarify with the seller whether they want to sell this item at your bid price. If they agree, you will be awarded the contract within this period.

After the successful award of the contract, you will receive an order confirmation by email, which you can transfer (in the case of shipping) or with which you can pay in cash or with EC on collection. Please bring this with you for collection. You will then receive the original invoice upon collection or with the goods (upon dispatch).

Please note that your bids - regardless of whether it is a buy-it-now or auction - still add an 18% buyer's premium and statutory VAT. These are of course shown on the invoice, if it is not about §25a differential taxation.

Example: If you bid 100 EUR as the bid price, there is an additional 18 EUR buyer's premium and 22.42 EUR VAT. The gross end price is therefore 140.42 EUR. In the case of shipping, possibly packaging and shipping costs.

Basically, we strongly advise you to view the property before you place a bid. We determine the condition of the goods and their functionality to the best of our knowledge and belief - but we cannot guarantee this. In principle, an exclusion of liability and warranty applies to auctions. You bid for the item in the current condition in which it is. Please note our terms and conditions.
